We all have inner and outer dimensions that communicate and can be explored, expanded, and remapped. Could this bring us to a transformation of the known into an unknown that longs to be?
Open to all bodies and voices, the workshop In this garden of stars was an introduction to a performative practice where the body, voice, and imagery became tools of transformation rather than means of representation. Through gentle physical and vocal exercises, participants were invited to connect to their bodies, question their habits of perception, deconstruct any hierarchy between the senses, and enter new understandings of their self-image. No expression of talent was required here. Instead, the work focused on performance as a conscious act of presence that each of us can embrace.
The workshop was developed for the project OUR TRUTHS FLOW TOGETHER WITH THE WAVES, curated by Sara Guidi in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture in Copenhagen, Fondazione Morra (Naples), Trust nel Nome della Donna and ST:ART (Copenhagen).
